Frequently Asked Questions

What is your Mission?

Our club's purpose is to enhance the quality of life within our community and transform public interests and concerns into meaningful projects and programs.

How do you support the students of Brick?

The club provides scholarships each year to female graduates of Brick High School, Brick Memorial High School and the Ocean County Vocational School. We also sponsor a girl from each high school to attend the Girl's Career Institute (GCI). Information is available at the school guidance offices. Information about GCI is available here and our scholarship application is available here

How does the community benefit from your work?

The club has many projects that fall under the heading of Civic Outreach and Engagement and Advocacy for Children. All of these projects benefit the community and they include, but are not limited to:  food and supplies every month to local food pantries, donated handmade quilts, blankets, and items of clothing to charities and organizations such as Knit the Rainbow, Each Stitch Counts, and S.A.C.K. We also donate wreaths for all veterans buried at Kettle Creek Cemetery and hold a ceremony honoring them as part of Wreaths Across America

How can women become involved?

Even if you can't attend monthly meetings you can still contribute to the projects that the club is involved in! Fill out the application for membership and the club president or membership chair will get back to you as soon as possible.

What are my responsibilities if I join?

Your involvement is up to you! Our president's mantra is "everyone doesn't have to do everything, but everyone needs to do something"! There are a plethora of programs and projects throughout the year, we ask that everyone participates in at least one committee. We recognize that taking on leadership roles is not for everyone. Worker bees are welcome! We ask that you are openminded and that you don't hesitate to share your ideas at committee meetings and general membership meetings. Financially, your responsibility is to support the club with payment of $50.00 in dues each year. Dues are collected annually in April. Philosophically, we ask that you abide by the Collect for Club Women and our club's bylaws
